The Maple Grove Yardwaste Site serves residents in Hennepin County-Minnesota

*** Drop your Ash trees here! ***    We are a MN Dept. of Agriculture approved disposal site for Emerald Ash Borer infested wood. 

Serving the Cities of:      Maple Grove                        Champlin
                                          Brooklyn Park                     Dayton
                                         Brooklyn Center                  Crystal
                                         New Hope                              Rogers

Residents of these cities are permitted to drop off yardwaste including leaves, grass, brush and logs up to 10" in diameter at the site at no charge to the resident.  All of these materials are recycled.

Commercial businesses and residents of other cities are welcome but will be charged a fee based upon the volume of materials they bring, the type of material and the seasonal price list.

Hours and Dates

Site is open from April 1st - November 30th of each year.

Mon-Sat | 8 AM to 7 PM |
Sun | 12 Noon to 7 PM

Closed:  Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day.

 

-Materials Accepted -

The following materials can be recycled at the Site:

Leaves
Grass
Brush
Logs and tree waste up to 10" in diameter
Garden Waste
Straw
Sod, dirt and gravel in small quantities
 
All materials must be removed from bags at the site and the bags must be removed by the resident.  Re-use your bags for your next visit. These are the only materials accepted at the site.  Please do not bring any other materials. NOTE:  Metal objects are very hard on our equipment.  PLEASE do not leave any metal or foreign materials at the site. Thank you for your help!

Located just east of the new Target at The Grove.  Our site is 1/3 mile west of Fernbrook Lane N and south of Cty Rd 81.
