About Christine and Foxglove

As the Twin Cities first exclusively local and chemical-free florist, Foxglove is more than just a flower studio. I am a slow flowers advocate striving to form a strong community of sustainable flower farmers, small business owners, and folks who care about supporting these mindful endeavors. By providing a local, sustainable option to traditional flowers, putting a premium on collaboration, and reaching out to the community, I hope to foster change.

The average grocery store bouquet travels around 2000 miles and encounters up to 127 different chemicals before it reaches your table. This is why Foxglove is dedicated to working with local farmers who are growing sustainably and organically. Flowers grown this way support a diverse ecological system, benefiting our local pollinators, birds, and wildlife. Blooms are cut the day before or that day, placed into buckets of water, and delivered by the growers directly to my studio! By offering these fresh beautiful blooms I hope to encourage consumers to live seasonally and celebrate the diverse range of products available from local flower farmers.

Customer Appreciation Weekend

Celebrate Arbor Day with our Customer Appreciation Weekend. Join us in celebration Friday, April 26 - Sunday, April 28 during our regular Garden Center hours: Friday & Saturday- 8:00 am-8:00 pm, and Sunday - 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Sign up for our Newsletter to be sure you hear if first!

If you have shopped with us before you know that we have some great deals during our customer Appreciation Weekend, we are just not sure what they are yet! Check back as the date becomes closer.

Here’s something to consider this spring

Start Spring off with some Pansy color. The Pansy is a great cool weather plant for this time of the year. They are super hardy and ready to withstand freezing temperatures. If the overnight temperatures look below 26 degrees though, simply bring them in for the night and set them back out in the morning!

20180417_092107.jpg

We also have a great selection of container gardens of all sizes and combinations. Select from the ever popular Petunia or Geranium; both great for a full sun area in your garden. If your garden has a lot of shade, the Fuchsia is a gorgeous hanging plant that provides a pop of color.
